The Parapan American Games Knowledge Sharing Programme organized by Rio 2007 Organizing Committee (CO-RIO) enabled future organizing committees to follow some of the process during a Parapan American Games.

Visiting some competition venues, the Parapan Village and meetings with several CO-RIO departments allowed a systematic transfer of knowledge and experience to facilitate the organization of future Pan and Parapan American Games. Representatives from Guadalajara, Bogota, and Chicago, all interested in hosting either future Parapan American Games or Paralympic Games, were able to experience Games-time operations and keeping a record of the processes, operational modes and policies.

For the next editions of the Parapan Games, Guadalajara, signed a commitment and general terms for hosting the Parapan American Games in conjunction with the Pan American Games in 2011. Bogotá, from Colômbia, has already made the claim to host the Parapan American Games 2015. Sharing the knowledge from this edition of the Parapan Games in Rio, the Paralympic Sport shall be able to consolidate the realization of both events in the same model of Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Today there will be several finals starting with Football 7-a-Side , Judo, Table Tennis, Swimming and Wheelchair Basketball to close the day. Athletics have the finals today and tomorrow. Sitting Voleyball and  Football 5-a-Side have the Gold Match tomorrow.
