Women Wheelchair Basketball Winner

The Mexican Wheelchair Sports Federation (FEMEDSSIR) organized the National 2nd League Championship of Wheelchair Basketball Federation for Women, from 19th to 23rd of September.

The event took place in the Mexican Paralympic Center Venue of Mexico City, with the support of the National Commission of Physical Culture and Sport. The teams were able to participate according to the national ranking, having the membership of FEMEDSSIR, and following the eligibility agreement mentioned in the Technical meeting of the institution, last November in Colima. The Mexican Paralympic Center, supported the teams with accommodation and catering during the games.

This week, from 26th to 30th of September, men will compete in the same framework as women did. The winners from both competitions and the second place from men’s competition will participate in the 2007 First League Tournament.
