 Dear Paralympic Family

The year of 2007 was a milestone in the history of the Paralympic Movement within the Americas Region. The structure of the Rio 2007 Parapan American Games set by the organizing committee following the same model of the Paralympic Games, is a great step forward equality and awareness towards people with disability.

The Americas Paralympic Committee thanks the cooperation of everyone throughout the year, and wishes a successful year of 2008.
