The Cuban Association of People with Disability (ACLIFIM) calls to the First Women with Disabity International Meeting to be held on November-18-21, 2008 at the Havana International Conference Center, Havana, Cuba.

The objective of this meeting is to exchange experiences on the integration to society of women with disability.

The meeting will be opened to all dpersons with a disability, as well as to students and professionals interested in the topics to be discussed. The official language of the International Meeting will be Spanish.

People interested in participate can subscribe by submiting the registration form to the Organizing Committee no later that November 8th.

Among the topics to be discussed are:

• Inclusion in the community and economic life.
• Women, gender and disability
• Sexuality, gender and disability. 
• Women and family. 
• Women and disability in rural areas.  
• Indigenous women and disability. 
• Accessibility to physical environment and communication. 
• Gender and leadership.
